Aegis is seeking a Director of Quality for a client in the Lake Forest, IL area. The ideal candidate has the below :

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 7 years of experience in quality management roles
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in regulatory affairs in an FDA regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for personal care products, including FDA regulations, GMP, and ISO standards.
• Proven track record of implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading regulatory audits and inspections, with a thorough understanding of audit processes and requirements.
• Advanced PC Knowledge i.e. MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and management system is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Nice to have :

• Advanced Degree (Masters, etc.)
• Experience in cosmetics, and OTC products
• Contract Manufacturing experience
• Certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
